I am a guy who has just recently discovered what he wants to do for the rest of his life. I am now not affraid of the future and look forward to growing as a person and a professional.
I am affraid of death and believe that we only have one shot to make a positive impact on the planet. When the lights go out, thats a wrap.

Other people who aren't quite ready to roll over and go through the motions. I believe that people aren't lonely for people but lonely for people like them.
Exposure to people and information that I would not be exposed to anywhere else.

All of that aside, I think you'll like it here. There are a number of people here your age -- some older, and some younger. One of them, Robbie Flynn from Nashville TN just turned 18.
My girlfriend here on Gather, Robyn, shares the May 2, birthday with you, as well as a beau named Jeffrey.
For the time I'll be on Gather, I'll look for your product. I'm to start chemotherapy even sooner than the doctors originally anticipated, and I hear it's going to be a monster -- no time for Gather, then.
Listen, (and you probably already know this): You have a dad who really really rocks, and because he is a down-to-earth, straight-shooting, "tellin' it like it is" guy, he is highly regarded, and well-liked here on Gather.
You taught him well, Crawford, as our children often do!
